Over the last two or three weeks there will frequently be a hangup on these forums that will preclude loading the page and end up completely disabling my phone's browser, requiring a battery pull. While I'm not entirely sure what is causing it, the logical explanation would be something to do with the ads, the ads are really the only thing other than the forums themselves that load up. But it shouldn't be causing any crash, unless your phone is struggling to handle the javascript involved - I will do some testing on a mobile device and see if I can maybe pinpoint where it's coming from.
