Michele 1 #1 June 16, 2001 [question]Can anyone tell me where I can get pix of basic gear - harness, container (are they the same thing?), parachute, etc.? (Everything except helmet and goggles - I know what they are). I haven't jumped but twice, so I am terribly unfamiliar with the different aspects of things... I have been reading so much here, and learning, but have nothing to reference with. brits17 0 #3 February 17, 2004 Just for the record Michele, your harness and container are 2 seperate deals. Container is what you place your parachute in, harness is what you put your body in. So for example when you're ordering a harness/container from a manufacturer, they need harness size and container size. One to fit your body, one to fit your parachute.
