MikeJD 0 #1 May 28, 2009 I finally decided I'd like to have an avatar, but I'm not having any success uploading it. The image I'm trying to use is a .jpg, and it's well within the size limits (both in terms of KB and dimensions). I can browse for it successfully on my laptop, but when I hit the 'Add Profile Picture' button the page refreshes after a few seconds and nothing much seems to have happened - no picture, and no error message. And the 'Select Profile Pictures' box still says I haven't added anything. I've tried in both IE and Firefox without success. Am I missing something? Thanks! rwieder 0 #8 June 10, 2009 I played with it with every program i have, i can't get to work either. The type of file on dz..com is a .png file. Maybe .png files and .jpeg files don'ywork well and play well with others?-Richard- "You're Holding The Rope And I'm Taking The Fall"
psmarais 0 #9 June 10, 2009 The preferred format for profile pictures are .jpg . It should be no wider than 1000 pixels and no higher that 1000 pixels. The size limit is 500kb.A fool and his money is soon parted - Buy 1 million e-mail valid addresses for only $100.
nerdgirl 0 #10 June 17, 2009 I was unable to upload avatar pics via IE7 this morning, including jpgs I had previously used as avatars and uploaded using IE7, but had no problem doing it via Safari. /Marg Act as if everything you do matters, while laughing at yourself for thinking anything you do matters.
