darrell 0 #1 June 7, 2001 Hi everybody,Can anybody give me their 2 cents on the quality/ problems/experiences of an older (1997) Infinity container? I'm looking for my first rig and found one with 200 jumps on it for sale and could use some input...thanks!darrell
freeflyguy 0 #2 June 8, 2001 If you mean the one made by Northern Lights, I had one before my newer Infinity. I think I put about 150 jumps on it. The only complaint I can think of is in a stand or maybe a sit, sometimes the reserve pin cover would come open. But that quit doing that, after a repack. Other than that. It seemed to be a good design and good quality. A 1997 model is new and 200 jumps is not very many at all. Mine probably had 6 or 700. It was a very nice starter rig. SkymonkeyONE 4 #3 June 14, 2001 The Northern Lights-built Infinity rigs were, and still are, VERY popular in the southeast (Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee). Most of the older jumpers at my dad's DZ in Alabama have them and love them. Patty was great friends with Jim Cazer and several other members of "The Alabama Gang".
