As lark I thought I would take a look at the guestbook. There are a lot of entries there that are listings of URLs that look like they come from over seas. I don't know if strange things in the guestbook indicate bots trying to get into the site, but I hear much web site attacks originating from off shore.

Someone may want to investigate and/or delete junk from the guestbook.

Have you heard about the Google URL attribute rel="nofollow" ?

It's part of Google's attempts to reduce BLOG comment spam - which I think would also help here.

The nutshell, is that if you add rel="nofollow" to your anchors, Google will not use that link in pageRank. This discourages spammers from posting to your guestbook, in the hopes of boosting their google score.

MSN and Yahoo are implementing similar filters.

It would be smart to add rel="nofollow" to URL's posted in Guestbook comments..
