tfelber 0 #1 October 21, 2004 1. Sometimes when I use the back key to get back to the thread list the new threads/posts numbers don't get updated and sometimes they do. 2. When I get a PM email notice and click the link I get a Message Not Found error yet it shows 1 unread message in the toolbar. Clicking on "Messages" brings up my inbox withthe new message in it. 3. Looks like it's time to increase your bandwidth... 4. Most of the time when I select Dropzone.com from my favorites, it opens the page with me logged in, however sometimes I'm not logged in. Looks like you haven't been following these discussions. It's not a bandwidth issue, it's server load. Quote4. tfelber 0 #3 October 21, 2004 No bashing intended...you have a great website! 1. It's not browser caching. If it were it would always be what it was when I was there previously. If I look at the forums page and I see 5 new threads and 19 new posts and then enter that forum and use the back key to get back to the list of forums sometimes this shows blank and blank, sometimes it shows 5 and 19. 3. I have seen your post regarding loading and I realize you are trying to increase this by utilizing more servers, but that is still overall bandwidth...I'm not talking bandwidth in terms of signal I'm talking bandwidth in terms of throughput/simultaneous user request capacity. sangiro 26 #4 October 21, 2004 Didn't think you were bashing. We can agree to disagree. Browser caching is not that consistent, especially if you have your settings on "automatic" which will look for a new page every time you return to a page and then either load it from scratch or grab the one from the cache. If you've seen the post about load then you'll know that I'm working on the "bandwidth" that already. Safe swoops Sangiro
