fleafry 0 #1 April 14, 2004 Hiya Just noticed that some pages couldn't load the pictures when browsing with Netscape 7.1. IE loads the pages fine. Has this become an IE only site now? E.g. http://www.dropzone.com/features/PerformanceDesignsDemoPr.shtml cheers FBJImages by FBJ
AggieDave 6 #2 April 14, 2004 Huh, same here. I wonder if its due to the naming, maybe nutscrape doesn't like it.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."

The IMG tags for the broken images use backslashes in the path. Netscape correctly obeys RFC 1738 and escapes the slashes to %5C, generating a URL like http://www.dropzone.com/features/%5Cgraphics%5C2001%5Cimages%5Ckatana_demo1.jpg, which is bogus and results in a 404. IE, on the other hand, doesn't give a shit about little things like standards compliance so it just goes ahead and rewrites the URL.
