mustard 0 #1 June 4, 2003 I am getting shoved out of the system when I go to read someone's "full profile" -- I get an "Oops, there was a problem logging into the system: invalid/expired user session." this is new, hasn't happened before, and I've had to log back in at least 10 times now. Just tried it again, problem is still there. *** DJan
sangiro 26 #2 June 4, 2003 DJan, I know of this problem. Unfortunately I've slapped a lot of the software on the site together and made it work with each other. I use cookies pretty extensively to try and track whether people are logged in or not. These seem to get out of sync quite often and then all this kind of weird behavior arise. It's a pretty high priority of mine to rebuild the whole log in system on the site. It'll take a bit of time though. In the meantime, try this. 1) Log out op Dropzone.com, close your browser windows, open them again and log back in. I know people don't often actually log out, so when an error occurs they just log in again and this has the potential to mess up the cookies. When you log out your cookies should be destroyed and recreated (hopefully the way they should be) when you log back in. 2) If this doesn't work, log out and try to delete all your cookies manually. You can usually do this through the 'Tools -> Internet options" menu in IE. Then log back in again. Let me know if this helps. Sorry for the drag. I'm cracking away on the new login as time allows! Hope all is well with you. Say hi to Skratch! Safe swoops Sangiro
