Problems viewing submissions...

Hi there,

Is it just me?? Every time I try to view some pics in the BASE gallery...everything is a problem.

I actually fixed this yesterday... do you still have this problem? Try to refresh your browser. Some photos had names with special characters in their names and that screwed up the script.

Sorry Sangiro,

but I'm still having the same problem. The first 2 pics in the BASE gallery and I also noticed one in the 'jumpships' category as well.

I refreshed the browser, deleted cookies, deleted temp. internet files, Logged in, etc.

There was a similar problem earlier with the cave-BASE pics TomA posted. It was because of some weird variation of the jpeg format Tom's Apple saved the pics into. As I recall, IE6 couldn't read the image-file itself, all other browsers worked fine. I don't have IE6 here so I can't try it.

OK...this problem only occurs AFTER I enter the BASE gallery.

I have no problems viewing all other categories...then I enter BASE...then try all others...then nothing works...Have to leave the website and re-enter.

I've got IE6 with no updates and I can view the galleries. I'll download the images, load them in Photoshop and save them again... I'll let you know when it's done and you can check again.

I think this might be a problem with the embedded color profiles from Photoshop. The problem appears to be fixed by removing the embedded profiles, or by using a simpler jpeg viewer to re-save the files without the Photoshop color profiles.
