moodyskydiver 0 #1 October 6, 2002 I've been playing with the features on the new email stuff and I can't seem to get the time set right for my "message time zone display". I tried setting it on the nearest city (Dallas) and I've tried just using the actual time zone reference (CT--Americas) but both are showing wrong times. Both of them are off by an hour and sometimes even about 3 hours off. Is this a system error or is my extreme computer ignorance showing? "...just an earthbound misfit, I." jceman 1 #2 October 6, 2002 It isn't set to account for Daylight Savings Time. Just set it to "Dallas" and it will be correct after the last Saturday of this month. Of course, it will be an hour off again after the first weekend in April, but that's the way the banana leaves. Faster horses, younger women, older whiskey, more money. Why do they call it "Tourist Season" if we can't shoot them?

moodyskydiver 0 #4 October 6, 2002 Actually, no, that still didn't help. I set it to Dallas and it says the current time is 3:50pm which is wrong..its 5:50pm. So even with the Daylight Saving Time thing taken into consideration, its still gonna be an hour off after the time change. I know this is picky miscellaneous crap, but I'm sittin here with a bum knee and have nothing better to do. "...just an earthbound misfit, I."
