Fast 0 #1 October 4, 2005 I want to make the suggestion that the incidents forum have the signitures disabled from posts. My reason for making this suggestion follows the fact that more and more DZ.com is being quoted in the media when someone is injured or killed skydiving. Many of the signitures that people have are often harder to tell from just another part of the post. I know that it is ussually possible to figure it out, especially if you are a regular DZ.com user. I think it is much harder for the non-users and people of the media who come to the site to take a sig. out of context when they are quoting someone on a post they made in a thread. I think that the sigs are cool and add a great deal of personality to the site and I don't want to see them go away all together. I just don't know if the incidents forum is a good place for them. -on the same trend- I know that a lot of people have a in thier sigs to seperate them from the post. A lot of other people don't. That might be something to look at having just happen. If you have a sig it could be automaticaly seperated from the post. I think that might clear up some confusion too.
