Eule 0 #1 August 25, 2005 Hello! I am wondering about including some kind of delimiter between the message typed by the user and his or her signature. Some people don't have a horiztontal rule or a couple of hard returns at the beginning of their signatures, so when I read their messages, I keep on reading into the signature and I then wonder why the last few words don't go with the rest of the post. A few people probably use the lack of a delimiter to their advantage - if their sig is something like "\n\nJ. Random User", they can include it as-is and avoid having to manually "sign" the message. Maybe the default would be to include a horizontal rule, which a user could then unset in his or her profile. EulePLF does not stand for Please Land on Face. IanHarrop 42 #2 August 25, 2005 Isn't it more fun to ridicule those that have made the foolish mistake of not including at least one blank line in their signature until they change it?Seriously... what would this do to the bunch of us that have put in a blank line or even a horizontal line? Might screw up more than it fixes because the foolish people we like to ridicule are so few (but fun to poke at until they fix it) "Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me" Dorothy
