arlo 0 #1 July 6, 2004 alot of times folks will ask the manufacturers questions in the forums (usually gear and rigging). but the thing is, a huge chunk of mfgrs don't have the time to sit and peruse the forums to find these questions and most don't mess around with searching for things either. it is usually word of mouth that they find out there's something to answer. i would like to suggest a separate forum category to post serious questions to the mfgr. this way, they can read it in their time and give you an answer, and it can also congregate the answers so maybe the questions won't have to be asked 100 times. i believe this will be much more effective in getting mfgr's responses. it'll be like a self-evolving FAQ. edited to add: i don't believe there are quite enough questions to warrant a separate category just yet, but maybe it could be an option in the future. thanks... love, arlo Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
