I'd take some ones review of gear differently if I knew that they were sponsored by that manufactor or by a competitor. Hearing someone that jumps an Javelin bash a Wings is one thing, but having an Vector sponsored jumper for instance bash a Mirage just seems to get a different reaction from me. AggieDave 6 #3 June 26, 2004 That's a damn good idea. Honestly, I don't trust most sponsered jumpers reviews of gear. If you're having to for your stuff and you like the stuff, then you'll talk about it and that means something. If you're given gear or deeeep discounts for gear, then that doesn't mean much. Its even worst when sponsered jumpers seem to gang up against jumpers who post bad reviews about 'their' gear. A lot of folks may not know that those jumpers are sponsered and take it at face value instead of seeing the true underlining cause.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
