rickjump1 0 #1 May 20, 2004 I received some trash from somebody using the PM feature. He had no email address. Is it supposed to work that way? I did put his name on the delete list, but wonder how he was able to send a PM without an email address. PS I like girls.Do your part for global warming: ban beans and hold all popcorn farts. sangiro 26 #2 May 20, 2004 The PM system does not use your email address to locate you. It's strictly an internal Dropzone.com message system. All it needs to place the PM message in your inbox is your username (which functions as your "address"). Same goes for the sender. If he/she is registered they can use the system. You can not send a PM to an external email address.Safe swoops Sangiro
rickjump1 0 #3 May 20, 2004 Ok. It was an internal message, but when I hit reply I was unable to communicate with the sender,"GOSHY". Does this mean that you can send an anonymous message to someone using PM?Do your part for global warming: ban beans and hold all popcorn farts. sangiro 26 #4 May 20, 2004 Aaaah... that's because Goshy (who only registered yesterday) seems to have registered only to send obscene PMs to people. He (she?) sent one to a moderator as well. I've disabled that username.Safe swoops Sangiro
