councilman24 37 #1 December 20, 2002 I would suggest consideration of separate gear and rigging forums. While they may overlap, "which is better, x or y canopy" isn't the same as "how do I pack this." PIA riggers forum hasn't caught on yet. I'd appreciate a forum for rigging only so I didn't have to sort through the gear stuff if I didn't want to. TerryI'm old for my age. markbaur 0 #2 December 20, 2002 ly disagree. The canopy performance questions have properly migrated to the canopy control/swooping or CRW forums. As a rigger, I am interested in gear issues (fit, construction, durability, freefly-friendliness, etc.) whether they involve rigs and canopies, or accessories like helmets and altimeters. I think the G&R forum signal-to-noise ratio is pretty good. Mark

They are what helps all of us provide information to our customers. Just thought I'd suggest "Gear" and "Rigging" separate. Mark, have we met at a symposium sometime? TerryI'm old for my age. Jessica 0 #4 December 20, 2002 QuoteI would suggest consideration of separate gear and rigging forums. I would really support that. The "real" rigging questions get lost in the crush of "Cobalt opinions?" and "Micron opinions?" posts. It works as is, but it could be a more sharply defined resource.Skydiving is for cool people only

nicknitro71 0 #6 February 14, 2006 I second that and PMed HH about it long ago. Gear forum for "what color should my rig be?" Rigging form for technical topics where only riggers can post but everyone can read.Memento Audere Semper
