PhreeZone 20 #1 March 21, 2002 Sangiro, is there any way to incorperate a kill/score file system into the current version of the fourms? There are some times that I'd like to be able to filter through the 1000's of new posts and this would be most likely to help since I can filter out users that I'm not interstead in reading from. Thanks for all the hard work!I wish you would step back from that ledge my friend... ~3EB

If I really wanted to, I could sit down and write some filters for it that would behave as a kill file. As it stands I use it to strip away annoying signatures. I haven't used P-tron, but just based on taking a quick look at the P-tron website, it looks like one might be based on the other. FilterProxy does require a Perl installation, and I'm not sure if all of the required modules work outside of a Unix environment.Anyhoo, I have a filter written for FP that kills users posts, but leaves the header so you know where they are. I'm not sure if it generates valid HTML because it works under Mozilla and beyond that I don't care. I also have one that replaces annoying sigs (AndyMan!) with "SD" (signature deleted). Send me an email or a PM if you want 'em.--Brian
