Craig 0 #1 February 27, 2001 Okay, I have found out that when done reading a thread within a subject you can click Index and it will mark that subject as being already read, and then it takes you back to the topics within the forum you are currently reading. Why doesn't the Index button work to mark the remaining subjects as being already read when you want to exit the forum, you get a 404 instead (lets say you don't want to read some particular subjects). You have to read the particular subject to mark it as being read. Correct me if I am wrong, but shouldn't the Index button mark these posts as being read and take you back to the main Index of forums, providing you are at the list of Topics within a forum? It points to http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forums/wwwthreads.pl?Cat= (the 404 error), when it should point to http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forums/forum.pl?Cat= and mark the remaining subjects as read?Craig Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
OmriMon 0 #2 February 27, 2001 when u goto the Main Insex after u ware in the forum u want it to mark as read it marks it as there is 0 new msgs in this forum, but if u didn't read some subject in that forum there will be still the new icon near the reply and that annoying...Free SkiesOmri.
