I'd like to be able to have the portion of someone else's message you're replying to displayed in my reply like in the old forum if it's possible.
Also, it would be cool to have smiley icons that you can insert in your posts as well like we used to.

you mean like that? I didnt see a "reply with quote" option. But you can use board specific code to produce various results. like for quotes you put(without spaces) [ quote] this is what i'm quoting [ /quote]
Look in the FAQ under the question "Can I use html in my posts?"

I think you'll find it can't be done. dropzone.com email is webmail only.
