stratostar 5 #1 December 3, 2006 Just wondering what ever became of Frank A's tunnel that he had in Coleman FL. Last time I saw it MTV was there to film something, but he couldn't get it started, never heard anything about again after my stop in visit.you can't pay for kids schoolin' with love of skydiving! ~ Airtwardo
Bodyflight.Net 0 #2 December 17, 2006 Hiya.... It's been a while since I heard Frank's name around here Last time we saw him (couple of years now) he was working on his law degree I think. As far as I know/knew the last operational tunnel he had available unfortunately burned down several years back.. .

Thanks again.you can't pay for kids schoolin' with love of skydiving! ~ Airtwardo
Bodyflight.Net 0 #4 December 19, 2006 OMG... WHAT was I thinking???? So sorry... let me correct myself a little bit. The one that burned down... the 6' machine did burn down but was rebuilt... but then shortly thereafter it "fell apart" so to speak which is why I totally forgot they rebuilt it. and then there was Dynasoar The last operational tunnel I'm aware of was the Dynasoar (duh cuz this was the first tunnel I flew in, how could I forget!!!), which was then sold to Larry Campbell in S.E. Texas and renamed Powerflyte. That was late 97... after that I'm not 100% positive but pretty sure there weren't any more tunnels... He was working on Patent Law and has many already published... but he does still have a website and is not really out of the industry in any way... check this out: http://www.trda.org/news/Outreach/outreach56.htm
stratostar 5 #5 December 19, 2006 Thanks for the info. Quoteand renamed Powerflyte. That was late 97.. Ok, I have seen it for sale for a number of years now, and it dosen't seem to be in operation at all, just sitting waiting for a buyer, I have wondered whats up with that? One would think he would at least put some place and run it, then again it may be run down to the point of being junk now. As well as being hard to compeat with the new designs that are around now days.you can't pay for kids schoolin' with love of skydiving! ~ Airtwardo
