Tunnel camps?

Recommended Posts

I'm fresh off student status with an A license and I'm looking at investing in some tunnel time to boost my RW flying abilities. I'm in Kansas so travel will be required regardless of where I go. I'm thinking a structured, formal camp type training will give me the most benefit for time/money. I'm looking pretty hard at the Airspeed camps at Skyventure Orlando/AZ.

Was wondering if there's other camps worth considering, or if I'd be better served by just finding some others to split tunnel & coach time with.

Also, there are groups all over that get coaches and go do camps. I'm trying to set one up in late March, Randy (MESL director - skyleague) usually does a big camp in the spring too.

I'll PM you details if my response is thin this year. We'd love to have you.

I DEFINITELY recommend a structured camp with experienced coaches.

Airspeed camps rock, I did one when I had about 100 jumps and went from turning 3-4 points doing all random work to being able to keep up with people turning 10-12 points turning block pieces.
