Slowfaller 0 #26 August 28, 2001 I havent been into snowboarding for long at all. My first ( I bet your thinking beer but its SNOWBOARDING ) board I bought was my friends old one and usually a bunch of us will go to this old brick road thats closed off w/ a handle of Captain Morgan and try to do 180's or see how many people can jump over. My friend is working towards his A license and broke his wrist snowboarding last season so I dont think he'll be snowboarding this season. I kinda like going to the DZ in the winter. I did much of my AFP in Feb and March and its quieter and more room in the otter. As far as skiing goes, I've never even had a pair of skiis on my feet. Only 19 though I've got my whole life ahead of meCHris" Thanks, you're special " - My brother talking to the Wendy's employee

Slowfaller 0 #29 August 29, 2001 QuoteToo bad I live in Ohio where the HILLS suck!!!Something tells me you haven't been to Illinois, where a hill is considered to be a land mass thats taller that you. I think this is the flatest state in USA. Open fields make good for DZ's though. Life really is good. Screw hills and give me open fields w/ no power lines, an airstrip, and a plane. I'll be happyCHris" Thanks, you're special " - My brother talking to the Wendy's employee

lewmonst 0 #33 September 11, 2001 fyi brandon, most places that do beach jumps require a minimum 200 jumps or D license...there is far more to a beach jump than just getting checked off for your b-license.call ahead to whatever dz you plan to beach jump from, and find out their requirements.ps, i wouldn't suggest jumping your new gear either, for obvious reasons, sand, saltwater, etc, and cuase the landing areas are wierd, long yet very narrow, many crosswind/downwind landings...don't hurt yourself, more importantly, don't hurt melew

mountainman 0 #35 September 11, 2001 FYI LewmonstER. The place that I am doing it requires a B license and documented live water training. So, why dont you stay in the kennel and I'll stay out here watching you. Ewww...nevermind.--------------Boogie pics coming!!!
