GreggB 0 #1 February 11, 2008 Anyone know where I can find one preferably online. I'm a retired jumper ex. AFF&T instructor. Currently flying gliders. My fellow glider pilots are woefully ignorant of their expensive seat cushions and I'm going to put on a FJC for pilots. Having a FJC syllabus to start from would be very helpful. Thanks
mark 107 #2 February 11, 2008 I'm guessing you're looking for a bail-out course, not a regular static line or AFF FJC. If so, http://www.silverparachutes.com/articles.html should give you a good start. Mark
AggieDave 6 #3 February 11, 2008 There's one in the SIM. http://www.uspa.org/publications/SIM/2008SIM/SIM.htm It may not be exactly what you want, but it'll give you a place to start. Its a PDF download from a link on that link.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
tdog 0 #4 February 11, 2008 Quote Having a FJC syllabus to start from would be very helpful. Thanks 1. Get out quickly 2. Pull the silver thing. (If Square): 3. Shlare the Tarp with the Dongles {using the real terms for the components won't matter} (If Round): 3. Change the viewfinder's view by pulling the rotate strings so the view is not scary. In all seriousness - I have had a few pilots attend my skydive AFF level 1 FJC and do a level 1 jump. I typically suggest that they do some tunnel time (since it is in town) so they get comfortable flying neutral.... Consider for canopy skills skydive tandem jumps, or even paraglide tandem flights... Heck, they might like these gliders too.
