josheezammit 0 #1 March 13, 2007 Yesterday, in the muck in the mire, I Slid as a baseball player would slide home, I giggled when the mud water would drench my face. I screamed for joy, when the landings were oh so dirty, and i ran back inside to get another rig and to hop on the load, I found something inside of my heart. I found a renewed joy, she helped me truly see it on my 100th tandem, her name is Zophie. 2 years ago yesterday she got in a really bad car wreck she fractured her skull from the nose up she almost died, and yesterday she jumped out of a plane with me. She told me she did it to get away from the fear, to take her life back and to become herself again, she was my last tandem of the day, and i thought before doing the math that she was well over 100 for me you know like 102. I will never forget her outstretched arms as the canopy flew, the thanks she sang while we flew, and the giggles she had while we landed, and i will never ever forget Zophie. You know the 1000 jump or more TM's at my dz say you make your descision to stay or go at a hundred, and yesterday I made mine. Thank you Zophie, I am indebted to you. So bring on the snotty nosed students, the ones that ask a lot of questions, the big ones, the little ones, the muddy ones, the clean one, the scared ones, the too cool for school ones and the one who want to overcome things ones.
