Hi cap

A mini system your going to spoil the Yute.

Can you tell us how much he/she weighs:ph34r:

I can not tell a lie;) I actually weighed 135# so landing was never a issue. Fwd or backing up.

The thermals could be a PIA. The PC was stable in thermals just took a long time to land for us young good looking hard body light weights.

We packed a couple of PC's at LP 3-4 yr's ago same experience as yours until the container from hellB| A B4 that wasn't extended:( The second one we ever saw;)

We beat on it jumped on it pulled on it to get the damn thing closed. Broke a finger nailB|, Considered a Incident report[:/]

After lots of choice words, sweat etc. we got it done took all three of us including amazon. Never again :(

DUUUUUUUUDE that day rocked.... I jumped it too;) That was my $35.00 OD GREEN SOG PC Mk II in a sleeve....I think the dual pilot MA-1 pilot chutes were the main problem with getting it closed.
It did fly really good... oh and since I sure as hell di not weigh 135 pounds, the splash was not even that big. >:(

Hi captain,

You were doing good until: I'm also going . . . spot for him.

:P

JerryBaumchen

PS) Get some pix when the day/event happens. It'll be a trip back down memory lane.

Really not much more at this point Jerry. I'm packing the reserve this afternoon and Monday which is our Cessna 182 day he's gonna jump it. I think the 182 is more appropriate than the turbine for his first try.

I will get some pix and post them

I would guess he's 150 or so which is a perfect weight.

Regarding the mini-system, I found it real easy to close and found myself using the same technique I did many years ago.

I can't remember if I ever experienced turbulence in the rounds (about 1,000 jumps on 'em). If it was there it certainly isn't like some of the rides we get out of the modern squares.

But I do remember thermals which kept the lighter jumpers (especially the girls) up there a long time.

Never had that problem myself since I've always been on just on the short side of 200
