jimmytavino 16 #26 August 6, 2009 Quote great story...a formation load night jump , IS specialI see that you listed your NSCR as 2350.... i think maybe you added one too many digits, since i earned MY NSCR in around the Late 70's and received # 1817.... soooo your number has to be waaay lower than what you listed. since you made the jump many years earlier.just settin' the record straight. jmy uspa 9452 scr 6190 scs 4876 nscr 1817
GreenLight 8 #27 August 6, 2009 QuoteIt would be inaccurate to call some of what's been poured over the years by the name "beer." Wendy P. Well I'm not a rich man so I'll drink just about anything. I jump a 23 year old rig with a 21 year old reserve and a 8 year old main. Beer is beer...Green Light "Harry, why did you land all the way out there? Nobody else landed out there." scroadload 1 #29 August 7, 2009 For some reason my night SCR was not recorded at the time but after Bill Newell checked his records he had found my application and awarded me NSCR 2350 because he could not issue any other.D-2626, SCR1999, SCS641, NSCR2350, GW6909 Blue Skies!!!!!! JohnRich 4 #30 August 7, 2009 QuoteOnly problem I have with it is the terrible waste of good beer LOL... That's why you tell the recipient to buy two kinds of beer: drinking beer for the celebration, and pouring beer for the ceremony. The pouring beer is the cheapest junk you can find. GreenLight 8 #31 August 7, 2009 It's alcohol abuse I tell ya. Any beer you can walk away from is a good beer.Green Light "Harry, why did you land all the way out there? Nobody else landed out there." "Your statement answered your question."
fastphil 0 #32 August 12, 2009 One of a kind hoop dive T-shirt. Here's pics of a hand painted T-shirt of the first NSCSA. This was painted in England (Scotland?) by a friend of Sandy (Sanity) Spence from a mere description of the jump, made in Spaceland TX, and depicts the dive with uncanny realism...
