Why can't the D.B. Cooper thread be made into a forum on its own?

I looked at the "Skydiving History and Trivia" forum this morning and saw there was 23 new postings only to discover they were all for the Cooper thread, irksome to say the least.

I don't care how many skydives you've got,
until you stepped into complete darkness at
800' wearing 95 lbs of equipment and 42 lbs
of parachute, son you are still a leg!

If we had a "D.B. Cooper Forum", then why not a "Lutz Forum" and a "Shayna Richardson Forum", but if, and only if, all posts made to them automatically go to the Trash Can after 15 minutes.
