councilman24 37 #5 May 7, 2008 Don't think it's Sam. I bought his team SST, and I packed his Shobi rig until he finally got a new one from Sandy Reid ( and it's in my basement right now to be inspected and packed). Never knew him to have the rig in the photo.I'm old for my age. Terry Urban D-8631 FAA DPRE

jimmytavino 16 #8 May 7, 2008 i've always read parachutist and SKYDIVING cover to cover and have enjoyed alll the great photos published in them... many stick in our minds for one reason or another... was really guessing in the earlier post , but i do seem to remember pic's of S Brown ( never met him, never knew him) in which he wore a red jumpsuit maybe a photo of an exit or as a floater, holding on with one hand... thanks for the correct answers Howard. j tavino
councilman24 37 #9 May 7, 2008 Sam's jumpsuit was kind of red orange, like the photo. And he had a hat kind of like that. Pretty good guess.I'm old for my age. Terry Urban D-8631 FAA DPRE
councilman24 37 #10 May 7, 2008 three words; Struggle! Struggle! Thump! The last think you need at 400' at terminal is a SST with a reserve total. (Been there, have the emotional scars) On a prototype SST I bought from Sam Brown in 1981. I'm old for my age. Terry Urban D-8631 FAA DPRE
