When I read the aritcle and saw the picture i had to do this - did you look at the article that is attached to the post. Read it and don't prejudge. I am not trying NOT to post...
You blue fairy thing wasn't funny.
The no ears is great - why don't you do that with one of the photos where we is not angry or use the Rose composite with the smirk or pout on the face...would be a little more FAIR. right.
I need to finish my Sunday routine and it is now Sunday afternoon - not Sunday morning. Takes me for ever to scan something and get it to a sze I can post.
You are right - they need to concentrate on Cooper and not keep on about me...if it was not for this post of yours I wouldn't be sending a pm or posting.
The article was a windfall on a bad day...but there it was and there was that man. " " " " "
Sent copies off to Par Bey and Sister Stella so they can
keep up to date astro charts on Mo-Jo's palm reading
channeling. EST values approached 101 early this mornin. Maldum fornax in the Great Kah Kah holding
steady as predicted (guess Sluggo and 377 were wrong!) ... Blue Fairy IS watching!
AI to all .

This Barker guy sounds like quite an interesting fellow; http://www.spartacus.schoolnet.co.uk/JFKbarkerB.htm
Would be a good candidate for Cooper maybe ... especially this
QuoteOn his 12 mission on 2nd February, 1944, over the Ruhr Valley, Barker's aircraft was hit and the crew were forced to bail out
except Jo tells us he had an accent, which contradicts the witness testimony.
From the above and other articles, seems he pretty much lived in Miami all along (not sure where the jails he went to are).
edited to add pic (hope it is not too small)

I see Jo's latest as progress. It moves things into
a more benign form, which is what Sluggo and 377
were asking for (basically). When you compare Jo's
first posts (pages 1-3) with this today, that is real
progress. We all know now what we are dealing with.
It's what I suspected all along and Jo may have been
heading there all along. Even if Jo relapses, it can
never have the potency it once had, and Jo more
than anyone will be grateful for that - so I see this
as progress. Jo has done a good work finally.
As for this new person, I have no idea. We can take
a look ...
Im glad you're not pissed at me, for all this nonsense.

QuoteIn any case... apart from you and Bruce, I don't think anyone believes the CIA had anything directly to do with the Cooper hijack. You're going to have to do a lot more than come up with CIA links to Duane to connect him to the case.
I agree whole heartedly with that statement. I did not make that post for that reason - only to defend somethings I have maintained for yrs. One of those is that Duane had some kind of connection to this CIA world. As for the CIA NOT having anything to do with that skyjack - I agree.
Just because I believe Duane to have had a prior association with a covert group is NOT insinuating involvement in the HiJacking - by those groups or the CIA. I do believe that because of Duane's association with these groups - there is cause for the FBI to not want Weber linked to the Skyjacking incident of 1971. This would be true of any suspect with that kind of connection.
I believe his involvement with certain groups is a VERY GOOD REASON for the FBI to IGNORE Weber as Cooper. It is all about that darn CAN-of WORMS.
Not a good thing to do...the government kept lots of things quiet because of past presidents over the yrs. Things do not change in Washington DC that much.

I assume (but don't know for sure) that T Bar sand isn't the source of silver in this concentration.
Some think this is circumstantial evidence of pre T Bar storage.
Treat this as a hypothetical question, but I have reason to believe that it is real. Tom can jump in if he disputes it.
Wish this mystery would draw Snow back in. He thinks way out of the box. Others have been pondering this info for a while but nobody has a good explanation.
Any ideas?

QuoteToo old to be Cooper, .
Not necessarily, we've spoken before about how certain people can easily look 5-10 years older or younger. I don't think 54 is out of the range of possibility and i don't know when the pic was taken but I suspect he is older than he looked in it. Would love to see a pic from the early 70s...
edited to add from Sluggo's link:
QuoteHe looked much younger than I expected,
(But aren't you impressed Jo that I took your story as fact and rather dismissed him on the accent bit?)

And yet not more than 6 months after the hijack they investigated and prosecuted the watergate burglars ... or to put it differently if Weber was working with Barker, they were working for the same guy, so why would they go for one set and not for another. It just doesn't make sense, Jo, and you are ignoring repeated rational arguments on this subject by 377 as well. The history both of your own "circle" of covert agents and of such stuff in general simply belies what you are trying to claim.

Small world. I once represented Frank Wills, the man who found the door ajar at Watergate and alerted the police to the burglary. The matter I represented him on was a driving related matter that happened a few years after Watergate. It had nothing to do with the break in. He died in 2000 having received little recognition during his lifetime for his his role in changing US political history.

377... 6 degrees of separation... small world indeed. Short (and rather sad) wiki article on him:

edited to add... just seen a bigger version of the photo i posted before and it was actually from his mug shot in 1972 !
QuoteAh, here's a photo of Barker from 1972. Not great quality but - if you believe Cooper must look like the sketch - enough to see he doesn't fit it - not because of age but face too round.

Thank You, Looking for pictures of Barker in the early 80's but nothing - I guess they just allowed these men to have their privacy after everything was over and time served and life went on.
Can't remember anything about the other man. I just noted the 2 men sitting on the porch across from me - I couldn't tell you what the other man looked like. He obviously was non-distinct. "Bernie" Barker has a distinctive look you just do not forget - his mouth (cupids bow) and I was watching him talk - he didn't move his upper lip a lot. I guess this is why that man stood out in my memory. In 1982 he was about the size he was in the picture in the article with Sturgis in the 70's. In 1982 the hair was more like the picture in the Obituary write-up, thinner and what I thought was dyed because of a reddish cast in 1982. I found NO color photos to verify that and nothing of him in the 80's.
At least one thing Duane told me was true...although it was skillfully done - "High ranking official" - well, maybe. Guess that depends on how much you trusted our government at that time...and who you put your trust in. Such as it is today - few of our government officials can be trusted...the affairs of the US are appalling right now and this forum definitely can get your mind off of redistribution of wealth - Obama is working on.
What about FAIR tax - Why tax the hard working people who do the right thing and take out the insurance offered by the employeer. These young people today don't get married and we pay for their babies and for those born to the illegal immigrants.
I is sickening to see people walk into the convenience store and by Beer and Wine and junk for their kids - when I and others like me are paying for their Dr.s bills and welfare. A federal sales tax on all items except for food, prescription eyeglasses and medicine is the FAIR way. This way the freeloaders are paying part of their own bills. Yet, Washington is talking about taxing the medical insurance benefits - for those who are doing the right thing by taking out the coverage at work. THAT IS NOT FAIR. Those who carry insurance know their priorities - if it was mandatory all workers have health insurance we would not be in this position we are in now. (if they are employed they have insurance). Their excuse is they would take affordable insurance - but, when they are offered the coverage they turn it down saying they can't afford it, but they can afford Beer and Wine and movies and expensive toys (TV's, cars, large homes). You pay your health insurance and live off of what is left.
I am mad as HELL about all of this "stuff" going on right now...

Why aren't you mad as HELL about Duane the criminal? It cost FAR MORE of my tax money to imprison him numerous times than it did to help the child of an illegal immigrant get basic health care.
By the way Jo, like it or not, a child born in the US is a US citizen regardless of his parents' immigration status. It isn't the kids' fault if their parents are irresponsible.
It doesn't bother me one bit to have my tax money spent to help those kids get food, basic medical care and a public education. We are all immigrants if you look back far enough.
What's worse: an illegal immigrant who works, drinks and buys his kids junk food or a criminal who rips people off and ends up a mega welfare recipient in prison?

Quote377 Yes I can.The FBI dusted every 20 bill with a silver sulfate dust. This was comon back then. This is What contaminated all the Bill's .This has been known since 1980's Jerry
so re 377's note that
QuoteSome think this is circumstantial evidence of pre T Bar storage.
means that what "some think" is ...wrong
Jerry, the silver sulfate was for what, do you know?
and an echo to Sluggo... re 377 well said. America was built on immigrants' dreams and some of us actually remember what it says on the Statue of Liberty, which don't forget is still probably the icon that most non-US would think first when asked for a symbol to represent the US. (even more off topic, we are already taxed on our medical insurance benefits here... and yes we do have a fair proportion of illegal immigrants here... and that's life and all that is a lot better than living in a country so bad that people want to leave it for greener pastures even if it means working well below minimum wage etc, which happens both in the US and here)
anyway i believe speaker's corner is the appropriate place for politics, back to Cooper!

(What were you doing reading a magazine at a big party anyway - that sounds distinctly anti-social...?)
