Umm yeah... I went to parochial school for most of my formative years. Most of my friends when I was a child did as well. The SEVENTIES changed a lot of people.... not to mention all those good little uniform wearing catholic school girls were probably the most promiscuous people I ever met in my life.
DITTO on that one! We attended separate schools, but I had this one "playmate" in my teens who talked about becoming nun and she had a garbage mouth! I learned all of my bad words from the girl who was going to become a nun. I moved away when I graduated and went to college - so I have NO idea what happened to her. Probably got married and had several kids.
The Who's top 2 biggest were good. I think DB liked Peter, Paul, and Mary's "Leaving On a Jet Plane." MeyerLouie

The man in the photo is probably wondering what
the 'two people on the camel' is all about - not what
you encounter in everyday life back then. Good thing
he didn't have a purse to snatch!
What the H does that statement mean 'two people on the camel'?
Only thing I ever took was a candy bar (about 7). Got caught by my aunt. Daddy had refused to let me have a candy bar at the station he and my uncle owned...I was really really hungry because I didn't eat lunch - it was baloney.

A lot of people dont have such a place where they really do feel safe and can make personal progress
in. Tina was lucky in that respect. Urbanisation has
removed lots fo places people used to go to and
use -
For some people its a book ...
For others it's an open door beckoning at 14,000 ft.
Once you get over the terror, the minute or so of freefall can be sime of the most soothing contemplative time you've ever spent.
And at $20 a jump its a lot cheaper than therapy or a retreat. .

"Blevins doesn't have the slightest clue as to where Tina lives. Blevins smokes too much pot while he's doing his janitorial work. He sounds like a frustrated sex offender."
Now down to some of the research Cook had done
" I did the research on Bohan. Don't say this about me on the DZ............but you can use it, Jo. (Keep up the good work).
ps. Blevins is so full of shit that he needs to hire a janitor to clean up his messes. The guy is a effing idiot and blowhard".
NOTE:
I didn't use the entire email, but to let you know that Cook has over the yrs use many of us to get his ideas over. I hope he won't be offended as I removed the parts about his research on Bohan's flight.
Since this was in 2010 - just thought you might like to know that if Galen didn't want to talk to me as Bruce stated - why were we exchanging emails? And why was he providing me with fodder for the thread.
Georger, evidently neither of you have a high opinion of Blevins.
Frankly I like Blevins, but I don't agree with some of the stuff he posts with NO actual research behind some of his statement.
As for me I do NOT get into the technical STUFF, other than I know that our CB picked-up communications from a plane.
I will swear to that till the day I die. HOW? That was what the DZ had to figure out, but it did happen......

One time thought about doing a tandem (I think that is what they call them), but now all these yrs later I think I will just keep my feet on the ground. Climbing up to change a bulb is scary with my bones.
The new medication I started to day is doing pretty good - at least it is not one that messes up the mind - it acts on the nerve ending...and I have actually been able to sit without a lot of pain tonight.
But - it is time for me to get some shut-eye.

No I won't do any email in it's entirety and he and I both shared many things - good and bad. I did enough of this one to make my point. I can usually tell when Cook is using a poster to ask questions or make a statement.
Don't make a big deal out of it as I am not one to smear others. You see I get accuse of making things up - crazy delusion and off my rocker. Hopefully this will let you and some of the others realize - we ALL go off on tangents and explore thing - but the basics need to stay firm.
You Blevin like myself are not a pilot - so leave that to those who know. The Cooper Story if is ever told will be factual and hopefully all of the coulda woulda shouldas will make sense.
My only goal right now it the identity of the Salt Lake Pic and when that is done - I have to walk, because I have a long hard trip ahead of me and I need to stay focused on.
I am taking new medication and if I come back here later today and find I can't understand a thing I posted - I am in big trouble. This one acts on the neurological nerves and not just for pain. Those pain ones really really mess me up. This one is letting me be me - I think!
Will see when I come back Friday evening won't I.

Well, we know NWA didn't pay very well, either. I think after the hijacking, Mucklow was so shaken up she decided to 'split the whole scene' for good.
Gray quotes Flo Schaffner as saying Tina occasionally tried to proselytize that 'old time religion' with other NWA employees.
The last is correct, your first is not.
Do some fact checking -
You sure rely on Geoff Gray a lot!
Read the thread.
Werent you or arent you still a lay-preacher?
I laid a preacher's daughter once when I was a teenager. Does that count? Otherwise, no. As you've probably heard, all science fiction writers go straight to Hell when they die. I mean they don't even let you try to pitch your case to St Peter at the friggin' gate.
Gray is just another source. Like Tosaw, Himmelsbach, and the other Cooper book folks. If Mucklow didn't quit the airline, then did the convent let her out on weekends at least to do the domestic routes? I could just see that. Instead of a red uniform, she comes down the aisle with the meals dressed in a habit. She could say grace over the meal for the passenger as she handed it to them. A real time-saver for the passenger, I'm sure.
I didn't say WHEN she quit, but she obviously quit the airline at some point, and before any kind of retirement pay was due to her. I haven't researched Mucklow as much as others have. If she stayed with the airline for a while after the hijacking, she gets an 'A' for guts.
It's a TRUTH thing. (your words oft repeated at DZ)
I think after the hijacking, Mucklow was so shaken
up she decided to 'split the whole scene' for good.
(your words)
I didn't say WHEN she quit. (your words)
Well yes you did - you said "Mucklow was so shaken
up she decided to 'split the whole scene' for good."
Its your loseness with facts, then you always say you
didnt say something when in fact you did -
And you say: "Its a TRUTH thing".
Its a CREDIBILITY thing.
It would be easy to say 'I made a mistake', but
each you say: "I didnt day that" (when you did).
And you say "Its a TRUTH thing" - truth capitalised.
And the implication of your original statement is, in
your words: " Mucklow was so shaken up she
decided to 'split the whole scene' for good. "
You are claiming she left immediately due to stress
from the incident - "so shaken up" you say. When in
fact that's not true.
Its a CREDIBILITY thing. And you are always
attacking other people's credibility.
But this thread has become for entertainment and
you are entertaining to some. Keep you the good
entertainment in that no-credibility fashion. You're
on safe entertainment ground here where nobody
really cares .. in spite of using words like TRUTH and
CREDIBILITY which you use all the time.
Oh well ...
This is why I have no time for your complaints about
Cook. Its like the pot calling the kettle black. Except
that Cook has done some real research, even hiered
people to dosome real research, Cook actually talks
to the FBI, conducts interviews, shares some real
information ... then admitedly has some lose ends
like the Tina affair.
Youc an be critical of Cook all you want. On top of
your own infamous misfires its blowing smoke and
in fact, Cook doesn't give a shit what you say or
think. It iritates him sometimes but then he is back
to business in five minutes; Cook sees you as
completely irrelevant. I think he has a more realistic
attitude than you do, and Cook has been at this far
longer than you have ..
Have a nice day.

Reconsider Jo. Even if you freefall just once, you will dream about it for the rest of your life. It also is a confidence builder. When something seems daunting I just think if I can jump from a plane and bet my life on some sewn nylon, I can do this thing.

As for me I do NOT get into the technical STUFF, other than I know that our CB picked-up communications from a plane.
I will swear to that till the day I die. HOW? That was what the DZ had to figure out, but it did happen......
If they have a prize for tenacity Jo would be my nominee.
Jo, how do you KNOW the transmission came from an aircraft?
The verbal content may have sounded like it came from a pilot but any ground based CBer could have been the speaker.
A visual sighting of a plane wouldn't prove it unless you could read the pilot's lips and see that they synched with the voice signal you were hearing on the CB.
If evidence has a dozen possible interpretations you ALWAYS pick the one that best fits with the DW=DBC theory. There is a name for this. It is called bias.
Glad your new pain meds are better than the prior ones.

So as a very uncontrolled experiment and for fun to while away the hours, myself and my shift partner hopped in his patrol car and switched his CB on ( he has a CB in addition to his PD issued radio) listened to the truckers for a few minutes, then when it was slow, we pretended to be a pair of 182's in the pattern for John C Tune Airport. The truckers would jump in and tell us to go to an exit on the Briley and look for the "Pilot", then bust out laughing.
But, we actually didn't get to talk to any planes with the CB, on out Hand held, yes, but it is a UHF/VHF radio designed to do that after all.

So, start being safe, first!!!

And just for the record: Name one piece of hard evidence that really puts Gossett on the suspect list. Not allowed: Testimony from family members who have something to gain, or dead witnesses whose statements cannot be verified by a second party today.
By the way, working on the Cooper case is not a tenure thing, nor do you 'advance' just by being at it longer than others. It's the results you obtain that matters. And Cook's results, so far, are seriously lacking. After all these years, when I was the first to suggest that Cook and/or the Seattle FBI simply start interviewing the people Cook worked with in the military, and try to discover his whereabouts at the time of the crime...you didn't support that idea, either. Credibility.

You and Jo should form a Hoaxer's Union, and
charge each other $500 annual dues.
Come and listen to a story about a man named Jed

Then one day he was shootin at some food,
And up through the ground came a bubblin crude.

What Cook said about Blevins - Georger you will love this! This was a communication in 2010.
......
Jo you are badly misinformed and deluded
concerning me. You always have been. That you
have learned nothing about me in all these years
defines your agenda. You owe Sluggo an apology for
having wasted his time and everyone elses.

Well...I have a little surprise for Mr Cook. After some discussion with a couple of the staff, we're going to do a short video this weekend for YouTube. In it, I will present reasons why Gossett probably isn't the hijacker, and review Mr Cook's investigation into the case, using pictures, an article from the Utah Standard Examiner, and other items. I'm going to quote his email as well, which I think people should hear. Call it a lesson in manners, and a bit of sheet-pulling on his claims thus far.

Jo, how do you KNOW the transmission came from an aircraft?
It WAS not a CBer doing anything. The tone was different and you could hear the differance.
I asked Duane what it was - he said it was the plane above us - when I turned around - I do not remember if I saw the plane or not...we were going one way they were going the opposite way. They were asking something about Cheynene - but I don't remember the content. When Duane got on I do remember something about what he said - He mentioned frequency and then something I do not remember that was technical. They did NOT reply so Duane didn't know if they heard him or not....said something about range.
How can this be biased - as it is NOT related to Cooper. NO one knows if Cooper was able to pin point his landing and if there was someone helping or how he escaped. Until then we explore the subject and what we know about the subject or the hows and how nots. Possible versus ridiculous.
Yes, the meds are working for now at least. I just read the post I made last night - and it was OKAY! Actually was able to get out of the bed in a normal way. They seem to last about 8 hrs., plus they are NOT narcotic.
They also do not affect my speech or co-ordination. They do NOT take away all of the pain and nerve problem, but make the day more tolerable.
