I hope NO one thinks BK's answers to Blevins question had anything to do with me. BK's post is a ZERO

I came here today, but do NOT feel well, but there are some things I need to discuss.

This will take several posts over a period of days - so please bear with me and in the end my point will be made.

Most of you know I had a relationship by phone and letters with Max Gunther who wrote a mostly fiction book. After almost 2 yrs of communicating we believed that Clara and a former "friend" of Duane's were one and the same.

Clara's first contact Max in 1982.
This was 5 yrs after her last contact with "Cooper". He had a total of 6 conversations with her and he readily admitted that was ALL he had.

In her first conversation with Max - she told him she was with "Cooper" in N.Y. in 1972 when he contacted Penzer with True Magazine. Max contacted this writer and sure enough a man who ID'd himself as Cooper had contacted him. At the time Clara was talking to Max she thought Cooper had died...I know the last time she saw him was in 1977 and I am sure he washed her out out his life by telling her he would be dead in 5 yrs. (Even Duane told me he only had 5 yrs left when he married me). Little did he know medical advances would increase his life span.

Penzer also did an article (date unknown) in the True magazine about being able to change identities. This was a "bell' for me since Duane had kept an old True magzine with this article in it. He raised HELL with me when I threw it away. The 1st light to go off.

Duane had told me about spending New Yrs in N.Y. in 1972 and Clara told the same story to Max. A woman from Duane's past had told me about spending New Yrs. with Duane in N.Y.

Clara claimed that Cooper was wearing a jump suit under his suit and was sweating. The passenger sitting across from Cooper noted something sticking out from under his pants - he thought perhaps long underwear.
I spoke to this witness and this is what he told me.

I have heard NO witness reports of Cooper sweating. And much of Clara's story was second hand from Cooper.

On page 17 Max talks about Dollar's Corner without explaining what it was. Yet, I know this part of the story as Duane himself told me about Dollar's Corner in 1979.

Note how Max slipped Dollar's Corner into his story without any acknowledgment by anyone but yours truely Jo Weber.

Max told me he fabricated Clara's background to protect her and she only mentioned that she had been in an unsuccessful marriage prior to meeting Cooper. How she met Cooper was also fabricated.

What he does explain with this supposed meeting is that Cooper did injure himself in the jump. The fact that Cooper had big feet was also a truth he put into the this story.

Max and I both felt the old friend of Duane's and Clara were one and the same.

Hal Williams the boarding agent stated that Cooper was silent and pensive, but didn't remember the color of Cooper's attire (the book say black and other witnesses stated brown).

OH my GOD. I just found something I have been searching for - for yrs.

Remember my telling you guys about Duane loaning a large sum of money to his boss. I thought I had lost the note - I had used it for a marker.

Duane Weber loaned his boss a lot of money on a note. Just where did Duane Weber get money to loan his boss. The note reads "Payable at location in Alabama designated by lender" "no interest" at "zero" percent. This was a 90 day note.

I thought this note was GONE forever and I found it...need to take a break.

Max states many things about exchanges between the crew and Cooper, but some of it is different than other accounting. We have to remember that Max is writing a book and all he has is 6 phone conversations with a woman who calls herself "Clara".

What I will note is that Cooper was demonstrative about the fuel truck and knew that ONE man could do it all by himself.

On page 48 he states that Cooper said to the Captain.
"Enough of this waltzing around, No more delays. Let's get this show on the road." Almost the very same words Duane said in the hospital only 2 days before he died. He wanted to take a ride but there was a big storm and he shouted "Come on Jo, Let's get this show on the Road". I tried to explain to him how bad the weather was and he stated "Let's get on down the Road" - he was heavy into the morphine those last 3 days. This was approx 9 days after he had confess he was Dan Coooper.

Max states in his book that at 8:10 - 24 minutes in to the flight the plane crossed the Lewis River in the Southwest corner of WA, some 25 miles north of Portland. He mentions a brightly lit dam used as a landmark by pilots traversing the region and that on this night the dam was only dimly and intermittently visible. Max did contact the pilots and Himmelsbach and others - is this what he was told or was this just writer's liberaties?

He mentions the plane making an odd curtsy right after that and the pilot needing to make a trim to level the flight.

His rendering of the chutes is different. Brandy is mentioned as Cooper's choice of drink which was also Duane's along with Scotch at a later date. Duane often changed his taste in drinks. Seagram's 7 was predominant in 1979 and Chiavis Regal.

NOTE: on page 59 Clara mentions Cooper looking like Ben Gazzara. This is also what the old friend of Duane said about Duane and this was readily visual in the composites the FBI would NOT make public for a long time. In the beginning they used the "Bing Crosby" look-a-likes. This is why I referred to the later composite as the Ben Gazzara look-alike.

I hope this establishes for the last time to JT where this came from. Clara said it first and I named the composite the Ben Gazzara Look-a-like. I was communication with "the friend' and Max that is what I called it,. but perhaps I was not the first.

The book mentions the composite in circulation looking like Bing Crosby and why Cooper felt no immediate threat of be discovered.

Clara give Cooper's birth at 1924 or 1925. His heritage is changed by Max (his heritage was German). It is also know that this woman did NOT know Cooper's given name. The woman friend of Duane's did NOT know his real name for the first 6 yrs of their relationship.

This was another common thread between Clara and Duane's friend.

Max then refers to Cooper as Dan Leclair - this is very much sounding like Duane Lorin.

Max makes up things but uses tidbits of Clara revealed about her "Cooper". Her Cooper referred to himself as MOUSE.
Once when I was talking to Duane during his last yrs when the weight loss made his ear prevalent. I noted his ears and used the world MOUSE. He told me to NEVER call him that again.

As with Duane - Clara mentions that Cooper could look at any broken dow gadget and figure out how to fix it. This was a strong characteristic of Duane Weber.

Clara describe his hair as black and what Clara called "a kind of Indian complexion, dark, the kind that turn to color of walnut wood in the sun" The exact way I have described Duane Weber's complexion and all who knew him would. In the script Max used he made up a childhood for Cooper, but used things Clara had been told and knew. Such as Cooper did not like beer but tolerated it to be part of the guys.

This was VERY true with Duane.
I saw him drink beer with the neighbor guys because they offered it - but he woud never walk into a bar and order a beer.

Clara mentions one like a mouse - his heart was in the right place but never learned to swagger. This was Weber all the way.

She tells about a scar on his left hand. Duane's prison file mentions this same scar ---which was there on the SanQuentin / Folsom papers. Duane never told me how he got that scar.

Clara's Cooper wanted to be a pilot but his eyesite kept him from doing this. The very same thing Duane told me. He was far sighted and in the war you had to have 20/20 vision. She claimed Cooper was nearsighted and this was a reversal Max made to protect Cooper's ID.

Max and I took the book from beginning to end with his trying to establish what was fiction and what was real. We both believed that Clara was Weber's special woman. Max provided a college education for Cooper - he had to ad lib to make a story.

The expression "Oh, I read up on it" was the very same thing Duane told me when he had knowledge of a subject.

Then Clara speaks of the other woman - time and sequence is changed. What she says about this other woman is the very same thing "Duane's special friend told me". A Doris Day type and the facitiously "Little Miss Lucy Lockett" . This was just too much for Max and I to digest. Duane actually left his long time friend for such a woman. Duane told her the other person was pregnant with his child (this turned out not to be true). All of this paralles the same story Clara told Max. Sequences changed.

Dates and yrs and sequences are all scramble, but the same story is there as told to me by Duane's special friend and to Max. Max interchanged the yrs and the stories - he did use information provided in those 6 phone calls by a woman who like Duane's special friend sounded as though she had tipped a few to many. The chapter on Lucy is 99% fiction but with sprinkles of truths about character and with the time framing changed.

On page 101 - his dream of a fix it shop in Florida - a dream he would not realize until 1988 when we moved to Fla. The parts about disappearing did NOT happen - Duane met me and he just went on - trying not to look behind and to be afraid....1979 to 1988 and the his dream of that shop in Florida became a reality.

Max reverses the story to protect his subject - the changing of ID was from 1962 to 1968 to John Collins and not after that. Then he goes back to Duane Weber. In these chapters Clara mentions cutting documents into small pieces and flushing them down the toilet. Exactly what I caught Weber doing in 1982 -but I won't go into that at this time.

This chapter actually is Duane in reverse - because he spent 6 yrs as John C. Collins and even obtain a commutations of sentence under this name. Max conveniently made the sequence in even reverse to protect Clara.

Max mentions CA in 1970 which is on target with with the story told to me by this special friend regarding a trip to CA and how she fell in love with CA....and when she and Duane went separate way - she did end up living in CA. Max paid her a visit and the ended our talks after he made a trip to CA.

This tells about Max's character wanting to locate his daughter.
This is about the time Duane Weber actually tried to see his daughter and was rebuffed. The last time he had saw her she was only 9 yrs old now she was in her 20's and in college...I got the impression it was actually 1968.
This was told to me by Duane's special friend - same stories to told to Max by Clara.

Max and I both felt Clara and Duane's special friend were ONE and the same. Max took the truth to his grave - because after he made that trip to WA he sent me a good by letter and there was ONE conversation after that.

These phrases are repeated (twice) in two different
places:

"Oddly, the aft stairs were not used to discharge the passengers, who exited the plane via the front door and descended down a set of airstairs brought in by a truck. During the time of disembarkation, Cooper apparently hid in the rear lavatory.

When the passengers were gone, Cooper had Tina close all the windows shades to thwart the risk of sniper activity"

Just eliminate one set.

"Clara claimed that Cooper was wearing a jump suit under his suit and was sweating. The passenger sitting across from Cooper noted something sticking out from under his pants - he thought perhaps long underwear."

In his training Duane was instructed to wear TWO PAIR of thermal underwear. This is consistent information. He would have been sweating, yes.

Nor do I care. YOU told me red and white on the phone, I disagreed. That is what YOU said. Can't worm your way out of it. You think you have obscure facts? I think you have a lot of good information with an equal amount of mis-heard erroneous garbage that completely destroys what credibility you actually have. Throw away all that garbage you've been fed and stick to what you actually KNOW, like me. This appears to be a Browning 1917 machine gun, this gun has been used in WW1 & 2 also used in Korea,

Just got caught up...pretty fast 11 pages skipping knoss, blevins and jo...

to add...my dad was 503rd in WWII...he jumped with a Browning .30 cal machine gun...his buddy jumped with tripod and ammo.
He once told me a funny story about a road march they were on...
They all marched/ran with all their combat gear...my dad knowing he would have to carry his heavy weapon cut off a broom stick and put black shoe polish on it and replaced the barrel with it.
Towards the end of their march his sergeant felt bad about him having to carry his machine gun the whole way offered to carry it for him...my dad said no...but the Sargent insisted on it so my father handed it over.
As the sergeant grabbed it and expected a much heavier weapon almost threw the gun over his shoulder.
After some smart ass remark handed it back to my dad to carry the rest of the way.

attached is what I believe he jumped with...

100% cover-up artist! I stand by all my statements. I repeat, you are 100% incorrect in this post. You just prove it in your negativity to the Nth. Nobody should be wrong all the time, but you manage it, so it must be orchestrated. Nobody could address so many PHONY evidence subjects without being advised. Nobody would act like a point dog that you and Matt project. You post for no other purpose than to harass me for my information, not because you have a valid response, just because you wish to silence me.

You just keep inviting me to respond. Let's do a little bubble chart with what happened when and we can draw lines and everything to satisfy your need for an orderly presentation. You will see when your clasp enters the sequence and when the Medallion goes back to McCoy. You and Matt have the official script and that is the only tune you can play. Sorry, we know better. Of interest:

I tend to believe Karen McCoy's 1992 revelation that she was a heavy participant in the Utah hijacking, and the other things she said in her efforts to stop sales of the Calame book.

Why? Because she was taking a risk by admitting to a capital crime. There was no John Doe warrant in the Utah hijacking, such as was issued for the Cooper hijacking. So, it's possible the Feds would have found a way to charge her as an accomplice, although they never did.

An excerpt from the Utah article, with a link to the full story below:

  Quote

'Karen McCoy, the widow of slain hijacker Richard McCoy, revealed for the first time Thursday her extensive involvement in her husband's 1972 hijacking of United Airlines Flight 855.During a daylong hearing in 3rd District Court, McCoy acknowledged that she bought her husband's parachute, helped him prepare his disguise, typed the instructions he read to the airline pilots, drove him to the Salt Lake International Airport April 7, 1972, to begin the crime and knew he took a gun and grenade aboard the plane.

At 3 a.m. the next morning, Karen also drove with her husband to a field near Springville to pick up and hide the $500,000 McCoy extorted during the day-long hijacking that ended when he parachuted over Provo.

Under questioning from her own attorney, Karen blamed her involvement in part on the fact that she had been "severely physically and sexually abused" when she was younger...'

Link to full article is HERE.

Also of interest is the fact that although Karen McCoy admits to all these things, she also strongly denied that McCoy was D.B. Cooper. It doesn't make sense that she would say this unless it were true. She could have easily blamed that on her deceased husband, and possibly used that fact to bargain with the Feds. I tend to believe she was telling the truth on both accounts, i.e. that she helped with the Utah crime, but knew her husband wasn't Cooper.

Max states in his book:

All of this is supposedly regarding why Clara's Cooper ended up in WA when it was actually a story about when she first met her Cooper.

"He alos discovered that the promised pay rase was much smaller than he had been led to expect. Indeedk in one sense his wages had been reduced, for the basement room he was given to live in - consi;dered as part of his pay- was little more than a closet. It was dam, airless and without cheer."

Max goes on to state more of what Clara said:

" "He called it his cell," Clara says. "He'd like there at night and wonder what he was doing there." "

What Cooper was describing to Clara was a room in a hotel in Colorado where he worked as a Doorman and was provided a sleep room in the basement. Again a truth mixed in time and place. This was the same story Duane told me about the Hotel in Colorado - but, he did not give a time frame (I assumed 1962 after learning of his history). .

Max goes on to re-interate more of Clara's story/

"The act of planning a bizarre crime helped him come to terms with himself and his situation. He didn't have to commit the crime. Just thinking of it and working out the details was enough. He could llie in his cell, gaze at the ceiling, and think: well, I havent found my adventrue yet, and I'm still a mouse, but I could change all of that if I wanted to."

This is actually referencing a time Clara's Cooper was in jail and if Clara and Duane's old friend are one and the same - he was in Jefferson. Remember that Duane had to tell me about Jefferson in 1995 when he was arrested for trying to obtain a drivers license under the name of John Collins (something he actually accomplished in another county the day before they arrested him in 1995).

What he told me about Jefferson is very similar to what Clara relates, but changing it to WA and the time frame right before the skyjacking.

The shocking similarities I could not ignore.

Remember this - Duane told me things in 1978 and Max's book did NOT come out until 1985. I don't think Duane was aware of the book until 1995 when he contacted his old friend to let her know he was still alive, but had started the kidney machine. Telephone records do NOT lie. There were 2 calls to CA on the shop phone records in early 1990. The old friend of Duane's told me she thought Duane had died several yrs before the FBI and I found her 1996 or 1997.

Since Weber was very knowledgable about the sky and moon and the stars - I do believe that Clara - shared that with Max as he wrote about it on page 135. The full moon was how he set the date - he just didn't think about Thankgiving.

Clara and Max discuss Risks on page 136. I believe they actually had such a conversation, because Weber was a Risk Taker - why he often got caught for small things - like Kool-aide!

When Clara speaks of Cooper's pants fitting him somewhat baggily - I had to laugh. Duane had NO ASS AT ALL. That is why his pants may have appeared baggy in the rear.

The old friend of Duane's and myself laughed about how difficult it was to alter his pants so they would fit well.

It's a shame that the DZ does not follow what Sluggo wrote on his site!

What You Will Not Find On This Site
You will not find conspiracy theories on this website. If you want to read about how the FBI arranged for Cooper to do the skyjacking, and get away with the money as payment for assassinating John F. Kennedy, or how Cooper worked for the CIA and the skyjacking was a device to distract the public’s attention from the Viet Nam war, well, you’re going to have to go somewhere else. You won’t find that kind of stuff here.

Much of what Max says about the actual jump is just his making a story. As for the color of the chute - that was just not discussed. Max added the colors of red and yellow - he did not remember Clara discussing this with him.

When it come to the part about the apple and candy bar and burying the money beside a stream except for 16K. Max made parts of that up. Duane was rambling in the hospital about putting 173 or 178 in a bucket and couldn't find the bucket. Therefore based only what Duane said in the hospital and what Clara was told - was just a leap of faith on the part of Max and myself. Since I know a little about Duane's lady of the day - I do not believe he would have told her exactly HOW much he kept or where he buried the rest of the money.

Choosing to stick with the stream rather than the light - makes sense also, unless he knew where he was. Duane told me about several streams during our trip, but I did NOT and was unable to try to find these streams without help from someone else (there was NO one I could trust as I had already found too much that contradicted all of the things JT had told me). Duane seemed to focus on a stream that ended up down Near Camp Bonneville -and he told me how it connected to other streams. Bear in mind that in 1979 Duane could not have read this book - it was not published until 1985. How could Duane Weber relate to me and show me things that would eventually be talked about in a book written 6 yrs later.

On some old maps I traced the creek Duane told me about and it did end up in an area where the stream divided and if you followed the light you ended up in the very area he took me to where he said - "That's were Cooper walked out of the woods".

It was a long walk I assure you, but the stream made sense with what Duane told me and what Clara was told and related to Max. :D:)Perhaps JT found the money and bought his gold mine with it. If JT is the explorer he wants everyone to believe - this is feasible. Does anyone know when JT got involved in the Cooper Chase?;)

All kidding aside - perhaps that is why JT was so insistent in calling me a liar and that NO such Places existed!:)
If someone has a time table on JT's involvement in this case - it might even add to the mystic of JT. Remember JT is very insistent that I am a liar - and everything I ever describe to him he insisted did NOT exist, but in 2001 - I found the Lake and the camp and the power lines and the pipelines. Then in 2010 I find the hill (Mt) JT claimed did NOT exist...he has never admitted in this thread that what told him about really did exist.

Some things - I had not taken into relation time and space - so they were spread out over a much larger area than I originally thought.

Here it comes again - the explanation of why they went to N.Y. Clara did NOT live in WA - but had gone there to rescue her friend. For the protection of the informer - Max made up the parts about here living in the N.W. He actually discussed this with me. He even told me where he thought she was calling from and it was exactly where Duane's old friend was living in the early 80's.

Note on page 154 - Clara and Cooper go looking for the hidden money. It was near where he had buried the chute, but it was gone.

Later they go back and actually find the money - but, the story was good for awhile just to pull JT's strings. Wait and see this will cause him to RAIL and call me a liar again. A girl does have to have some fun - once in awhile.

Then comes page 157. "The idea was that the hijacker knowing his death was imminent, had decided on an adventure that would either end the waiting or provide him with the means to live out his last days in luxury".

This was the intent of Cooper and he survived - so he had to live with it. Since he had involved someone else after the fact (someone who cared for him) - he made the decision to move forward with his life and to aid her in securing her dream since he seemed to bungle everything in his life - they had to go separate ways. Forget what is in the book about Clara for a moment and re-read this paragraph. This was a discussion with Max and what he knew about Clara and what I knew about the other woman.

The stories fit together like a pair of shoes. When Max was unable to get the FBI to look at this - he took 6 conversations and wrote his book. Clara did NOT want to incriminate herself and the parts about her being in WA - was Max just writing, but she was in the picture shortly after the crime and had knowledge of the money and did seek counsel as to if she could be prosecuted. She did NOT participate in the crime, but had knowledge of it at a later date and some of the money was spent on her. In 1982 - she thinks he is already dead and having become dependent on alcohol and by then struggling to make ends meet -she hoped she could sell his story, but when the FBI refused to co-operate she ceased ALL contact with Max.

Question - Bruce in Chpt 2 you say:

“It was like war,” Rataczak told me. ... A less confrontational approach was recommended by Soderlind and NWO operations in Minneapolis, and a compromise was offered: refuel in Reno, Nevada. Cooper agreed.

Was not aware Soderlind played this role? Have always read it was Nyrop told the crew and FBI to cooperate ...

Maybe you can shed light on this.

Maybe. In a previous interview, Rataczak alludes to being in contact with Soderlind on the ground, after the takeoff from Seattle:

  Quote

'I do know that our technical support people who were on the radio with us during the hijacking, especially Paul Soderlind (sic), tried to determine the exact area where Cooper might have jumped. We relied heavily on him for technical information during the flight. He was head of Technical Operations in our Flight Training Department. Paul and many others did a lot of work trying to determine the exact area in general (where Cooper jumped), and then tried to narrow down where the hijacker could have landed after he jumped from the airplane.

They finally determined the likely spot. Well, our crew on board was 99% sure they were correct because we felt a tremendous amount of pressure bump in our ears when the aft stairs rebounded when they closed...'

my question relates to the order to cooperate,
previously attributed to Nyrop, not Soderlind and
technical issues (where did he jump etc).

Maybe it was Soderlind who conveyed the order for Nyrop? Ive always been told it was Nyrop himself who talked to the crew?

Maybe Bruce knows something about this?

We wont know until HE answres.

One paragraph on this page had me in stitches because Duane had told me this part of the story but did NOT tell me what they hid.

NO WAY 1982 versus 1979 and the book was not published until 1985. How could Duane Weber relate a story in 1983 that had NEVER been published.

You will find it in this paragraph on page 159:

Concerns about the money being found in their living quarters - the removed a wall-mounted medicine cabinet in the bathroom and stuffed the bundle of bills into the space between two-by-four studs, and replaced the cabinet.

Duane had told me he and his special friend had hid something in this manner. He told me this story in 1982 or 1983. It was related to me on a overnight trip. The weird things and other circumstances of that trip were enough to raise one's eyebrows.

Remember I even suggested a rifle could have been hidden in this manner. He never told me what they hid.

Yeah, it was most likely Nyrop who gave the order to cooperate. That decision would have been his. Maybe Soderlind re-interated it somewhere along the way, but you are right. It was (*probably*) first said by Nyrop.

Plus, he had to authorize the ransom payment too.

Bruce wrote his book.

The question is posed to HIM. Not you!

Bug out and mind your own business? Sheesh!

Are you kidding? You actually BELIEVE the Gunther book's version of events? Tell me you are joking. Tell me you are not grasping at straws.

I lend more credence, by far, to the Bobby Dayton version of Cooper than Max Gunther's unsupported novel.

IT'S A N-O-V-E-L.

That means someone made it up.

Who is 'Clara'? I mean her real ID. She is the only witness in the book and last time I heard she's anonymous.

:)
The FBI didn't buy into Max and what he had and they scared Clara away. I told the FBI from DAY one who Clara was, but I cannot reveal it in this thread.
The FBI knows! But, as usual the FBI does NOT listen and their rookies scare the hell out of witnesses and never ask the right questions.

Blevins evidently you have been so absorbed in your own story that you never actually read or listened to the story about Duane and what I shared with the FBI. How many time does someone else have to go to the FBI before they GET it! The FBI never even gave your suspect anymore than a raised eyebrow.

Yes, Max had to write it as a NOVEL, but the calls were real and Clara was real and the letters and the notes are real.
They are actually part of the FBI file on Cooper. Yet, the FBI never attempted to put Clara and this woman together.

Since this is about a woman who has family still living - I am not allowed to say much more than what I have said. The family knew she was no angel, but she was a mother and a sister and a friend to many. Not the best of examples were set by her. Her own Daughter told me "I know Duane was Cooper".

This is what I have tried to tell you before and that there is MORE on Duane Weber than on your subject. Tonight I found the note regarding the money and then I had more in tax records and family and friends who believe Duane was Cooper - but I didn't put a "novel" together the way you did by taking their words and using them and making them look like fools to the media and their peers.

What I have done is try to prove Duane was Cooper without using all of this - things that rip lives apart. The family you dealt with may want and love the notoriety, but x's family doesn't want that. Some are professionals and some strong Christians and others who just got LOST in life and those who are deceased...most of them were alive in 1996 when I 1st contacted the FBI. AS I have said the FBI did NOT investigate Duane Weber and I didn't have a professional writer pulling a bunch of "stuff" together to do a NOVEL like you did.

KC was NOT Cooper.

You're doing it again. Trying to set yourself up as the Controller of What Must Be Posted, and To Whom.

Sorry, doesn't work that way. If you'd release your PM function here, you could ask him in a private message. Bruce also has email. If you have questions about his book, especially if they detail points of order, it is more polite to contact him privately about it...rather than trying to correct him in public.

On Max Gunther's book: IMHO it's a pile of hogwash.

And if you are going to criticize that assessment, I would like to hear your reasons why you support it, and why you believe it's a true rendition of the Cooper hijacking.

Good luck with that...:|

Blevin you have reached the point if someone DOES NOT agree with you that you become very VERY beligerant. How many time tonight did you raise you elbow?

:SGeorger did NOT speak one word of support for Max Gunther's book so why did you pile in on him?

:)
Perhaps you need to stop drinking or go to bed or find yourself a new girl friend!
