goldwing 0 #10 September 30, 2006 Gordon Foster, who was the original Guardian has been a friend for almost 40 years. We were both Navy Riggers and were stationed at Kingsville, Texas. Did most of our jumping at Laredo at that time. In early 1969 Gordon made his original piggyback replica and jumped it. Things just went forward from there until 1976 when he had to sell the company. You haven't lived until you've almost died"
JerryBaumchen 1,445 #11 September 30, 2006 Hi goldwing, Didn't Gordon go to Guardian as part of the sale? I seem to recall his being there for a couple of years. I understand that when Frank brought in Dan Abbott from Security he (Dan) canned a number of people; don't know who all got the ax though.
