Jumping from a Blimp

I saw a story about the world's largest blimp in Japan making its maiden flight.

I'm wondering if anyone here has ever been able to jump from one.

When ever the Carolina Panthers or Charlotte Nascar race, are in town and there is a Blimp filming, they park it at our dz airport. No one has ever got to jump it, but that is not due to lack of begging.....

Tom McLaughlin jumped out of the Hood blimp into the Children's Museum in Boston. Very hairy because he had to land on a small dock area a few feet from the water.

I have photos of Jerry Schrimsher jumping from the Good Year blimp, I believe it was in the early 70's, maybe the late 60's. The rig he used was a security system originally built for rounds, but when he got the first paraplane square he cut the side flaps down so the square would fit snug. So its hard to tell the date by the equipment.
