Were you apart of the JUMA, Texas crowd? You remember Kim Fuller? I used to hang around with that guy at my old DZ, the one I learned at (Eagle Flight Skydiving, granbury, Texas).

An ad from the May, 1977 issue of Spotter magazine. The original was in black & white. I colored it in during a fit of insanity one day. (sorry)

The ad art work was done by Rob Thundercloud. At the time Dean was a big time gear dealer in So. Cal.

What memories. I was at three of the gatherings represented in your pictures. I was in the "Salute to The Duke" picture but not one of the participants. If you look in the upper left of the picture there is a poster with John Wayne and another person standing by him. That other person is me. I got to have my picture taken with him when he flew into the FBO where I worked in 1976. I had a poster made and gave it to Fred Elsner the DZO who was a "Duke Freak".

I was also at the SCR ceremony and at the McKinney DC-3 boogie but didn't make it into any any of the pictures.

Thanks for putting them up.
The older I get the less I care who I piss off.
