shoeless_wonder 0 #1 September 18, 2013 I am currently on active duty in the military (NC). In December, I am getting out and moving home to Texas. I was wondering where is the closest DZ's. And of those, which one should I choose for my home DZ? With that said, I will eventually visit all of them, for the experience and to meet new people. I looked online and there was a "skydive Waco" that I found, but when I checked out the DZ's, I didnt see it anywhere. I even sent them an email, but got no response back. Also, what are your favorite DZ's in Texas? I would like to travel and find new places to jump eventually. What is the point of life, if you don't live it? GLIDEANGLE 1 #2 September 19, 2013 Skydive Temple in Salado, TX certianly deserves a visit! Skydive 35 will probably be a disappointment to a licensed jumper. I love Skydive Dallas... but it may be further than you want to drive regularly. We have a "Howdy" culture and two turbine AC. [And our teams are doing rather well at Nationals right now!
