Sean357 0 #1 July 15, 2013 Hi there, I am from Perth Western Australia and I am most probably moving to South Australia for work February 2014. I wish to keep skydiving. I know there are drop zones in S.A and I have looked on the map and located them I just want to ask on here which the busiest ones are, pros and cons in regards to travel to and from the suburbs. I am not asking for any bagging out I just want people's honest opinions and suggestions. Cheers Sean

skydivebeauty 0 #3 July 18, 2013 Hey Sean I live in SA and here we have 3 drop zones. The first being Adelaide Skydiving, and I don't know much about them but I do know they get a lot of tandems there (not sure about the fun jumpers). There's Skydive The Coast, which is very tourist-y and I think they only do tandems :/ I did my first jump there and the views were amazing The last is SA Skydiving (my dz ) and they are definately the largest and most established in the state. The DZSO is Greg Smith (everyone calls him Miff though) and he is a very well known and respected skydiving legend. They get plenty of tandems, but they are very large on fun jumping, comps, free flying, wing suiting etc. It's a great community and very welcoming SA Skydiving is about a 45 minute drive from the suburbs, and about an hour from the city. Pretty easy. But I do recommend you them to you, and the weather is mostly beautiful for jumping here (blue skies, sunny, dry). Best of luck and happy jumping x

AdamTheRock 0 #6 July 18, 2013 Hi Sean 2 Dropzones for fun jumpers: 1. Langhorne Creek About 1hr South of CBD Good base of fun jumpers, lots of wingsuiting 2 planes Swoop Pond 2. Lower Light 40 Minutes North of CBD Similar amount of fun jumpers 3 planes Both dropzones are similar with weather. Both have highly experianced operators. Some people here fly over to Melbourne and jump at Nagambie/Barwon Heads too. So you might want to consider that too. Hope that helps. Adam
