Join the National Skydiving Museum November 9 – 11, 2012 at Skydive Arizona (Eloy) to celebrate the "Birth of Formation Skydiving – The Star Crest Recipient Award" and the 2012 Inductees to our Hall of Fame. The Bob Buquor Memorial SCR Award was created in 1967 (45 years ago) by Bill Newell as a tribute to a friend and mentor, the late Robert H. Buquor. Since its inception, the Star Crest Awards program has become one of skydiving’s oldest and most universal traditions. Join us for a weekend of competition and fun jumps, great friends – old and new, good food, laughter, remembering old times, making new memories and having a beer or two at the Pioneers and Reunion Loung. Our Museum is meant for everyone - old school and new school skydivers. Everyone is invited! More info to follow on all the exciting activities being planned – but we do know the highlight of the event will be our Hall of Fame Ceremony and Dinner. The inductees for 2012 are: Carl Boenish, Bob Buquor, Claude Gillard, Craig Girard, Dan Poynter, Muriel and Hank Simbro.
