ktmlouie47 0 #1 July 10, 2010 There is a really nice new little DZ near Fort Rucker in DeFuniak Springs Fl called Skydive Live. The DZO is a retired Golden Knight and is an AWESOME guy. He caters to fun jumpers and thats what we need are some good ole fun jumpers. He only has one tandem rig so no bumping for tandems. Its a new DZ thats trying to get on its feet and a great place. So if your in the Area come out and make a jump. Oh the DZ has a 182 that has been fully restored its a beautiful and fast 182. There is a second 182 getting the works inside the hanger. Dittodogg 0 #2 July 13, 2010 As for those attending IERW at Rucker, Skydiving is no longer on the prohibited list from 145th or 1st AVN BDE. I just left there as cadre in 145th (flight school) and spent the better part of my tour there convincing the powers that be to change the list of prohibited activites. You can now jump, private pilot, scuba, carsurf etc.... The deal is if you get hurt and cant continue with training for over 6 months you will be considered for elim. (same goes for car accident/ personal issues) You will be more than familiar with the rules when you sign in.Team Dirty Sanchez #455, Muff Brother #4197, SCR #14847, DPH -8, Dude #5150
castrodavidd 0 #3 July 14, 2010 I jumped while I was in flight school there at headland even though it was against the rules. Just dont get hurt and no one will know. and if you do get hurt just remember you didn't do it skydiving.
