taz9420 0 #1 October 18, 2002 VIC from Bay Area Skydiving in Byron, CA. This was my first Tandem jump (yesterday Oct 17) and he kept me relaxed throughout the whole process; from ground instruction to the actual landing itself. I'm seriously considering taking AFF (all levels), and I hope I can get him as one as my instructors. TAZ PS. I have over 80 military static line jumps; there're nothing compared to what I experienced yesterday. Thanks VIC

Deuce 1 #3 October 18, 2002 Welcome Taz! Vic is a great guy. He and his wife Connie are full-time at BAS. Between them they have motivated me to be the best skydiver I can be, and have coached me enough that I'm usually a proficient video flyer. Please come back and do the AFF course. If you do, I'll make you a killer deal on videoing your level one. JP
Sebazz1 2 #4 October 18, 2002 This is a serious forum so I'll keep my little sarcastic remarks about Vic and Connie to myself and just say that you are in very very good hands with those two...... Good luck with AFF! ~Seb
Deuce 1 #5 October 18, 2002 Seb! Did you see any of the photos from the Byron Boogie in the NCS site? OMG!
Deuce 1 #7 October 18, 2002 Northern California Skydivers. It's a group-mail thing. Q took some pictures during the Saturday night party when they got drunk, naked, and then put Dennis's golf cart on the pump house. Imagine a camera being at the best coed bachelor party you've ever been at. I'll try and PM you the hook-up to the photos. JP
Cornholio 0 #8 October 18, 2002 SHHHHHHHHHH You're supposed to be quiet about that. I look at Vic in an entirely different view after seeing those pictures. Butthead: Whoa! Burritos for breakfast! Beavis: Yeah! Yeah! Cool! bellyflier on the dz.com hybrid record jump
JJohnson 0 #9 October 20, 2002 Dude, Send me the link as well, I missed the party that night. But the golf cart on the pump house was classic. Thunder has quite the sense of humor. JJJJ "Call me Darth Balls"

If an elephant had looked at him that night he would have said "How do you pick up peanuts with THAT thing?"
Chief 0 #11 October 21, 2002 Go for it Taz! After 80 military jumps, the AFF will zip right along for you. After 80 working jumps, now is time for fun jumps! Good luck
