Las Vegas skydives

I have over researched this issue, now I am annoyed and confused.

I am going to Las Vegas in July (I know that's foolish, but that's not my point here). I am going on a bachelor party, and everyone including the groom wants to make a tandem jump. I am a fun jumper and I would like to jump with them, or at least on the same load.

It is very obvious that Mesquite is the place to go if I was coming out here to jump. But, with a bachelor party of 6+ dudes, I feel like it could be too much effort. Rent a car... drive 1-1.5 hrs each way. I was hoping that one of the DZ's closer to the strip would have what I needed.

I don't want to set it up, and get there and be the victim of a bait and switch. There are reviews everywhere about loads hosing people and only going to 8 grand, or them advertising fun jumpers welcome and then not letting them jump. It seems like they are all full of crap.

Vegas Extreme Skydiving is recommended in one thread, and the website says free fun jump with every tandem you bring. But in the reviews it gets absolutely shredded for being a shady tandem factory that rips you off, lies to you and doesn't let fun jumpers there.

Sorry to single them out, but this post is long enough to comment on everything I read. You all get my point by now.

Can someone out there just tell me what to do?

Just give Brad at Skydive Mesquite a call. He could use the business especially at that time of year... AND I know he will let you jump... no bait and switch.. just good times at a real dropzone that welcomes everyone.

It's a bit of a drive to any of the DZs anyway. Going to Mesquite is not really any more hassle than the others. Ok, they may have shuttles and such, but you and your buddies will be much more satisfied if you call Brad and make the trip to Mesquite. It's worth it!
