lippy 918 #1 September 4, 2008 My boss told me today that I gotta take some days off or I'm going to lose them. I'm thinking of popping up to the US, renting a car in south TX, buying a tent and booking it to Eloy. I've stayed in a tent there in December and it was cold as shite. I know the summers there aren't too jumpable for the better part of the day due to extreme heat. What about right now? Is it too hot? Is it super-cold in the nights? Lots of dust-devils? Lots of loads all day? If Eloy's not prime right now where should I be going? I want to pass at least a week. I could hit a hotel but I'd prefer to tent it on the DZ so there's no complications getting home after some beer-light activities. Basically looking for good belly skydives and good times after the planes get parked for the night. Where should I go? Does Perris crank all week?
