lizzya 0 #1 February 18, 2008 I am planning on going skydiving on my bday, and was wondering where would be a great place to go skydiving. I live in New York City, and heard it is too cold to skydive in March. Is there any good places that you would recommend that is close to the airport? I am not planning on driving, so would like a place that is closer to the airport or is there any place that have transportaion from the airport. Thanx. CSpenceFLY 1 #2 February 18, 2008 They are all close to an airport just not the one you will fly into if coming from out of town. Whether or not it will be too cold to jump in New York will depend on the weather. Just remember it will be about 30* colder at altitude then on the ground. The Atlanta crowd is pretty friendly. You might be able to find someone to pick you up in Atlanta and take you to Skydive The Farm. We are having a RoamingDZ.com event at The Jumping Place in St. Marys Ga. the weekend after that. You might find someone to pick you up in Savannah or Jacksonville before that weekend.

usmc03 0 #7 February 19, 2008 I'd pass on the Sebastain boogie, I was there this weekend for the pink mafia boogie, 60 tandems on saturday and just as many fun jumpers with 1 Otter. close to a 2 hours wait to jump, was there all day and got 4 jumps in and the last ones landing was in the dark.. You can't even put the Team Dirty Sanchez Luau Boogie in the same basket as the Pink Mafia. I have never been to a Pink Mafia boogie, and I know there have been some good ones in the past. But I CAN GUARANTEE that the Dirty Sanchez Boogie will be a great time. There are already 2 otters scheduled to be there as well as a helicopter and a mystery aircraft. My boyfriend is the one who plans this and I can tell you there are some serious major fun things planned and this will not be a boogie to be missed!
