staceyg 0 #1 June 23, 2007 Posting this for Riccardo: Hello Everybody, This year the MIT Skydiving Club is celebrating its 50th Anniversary! To celebrate this memorable event we will organize a MIT Big-Way Skydiving Event. The skydiving coordination will be managed by Jim Rees (member of Mass Defiance and MIT Class of '89). The MIT Big-Way is scheduled for July 15 at Skydive Pepperell (Home Dropzone of the MIT Skydiving Club). This event was attempted last in 1992 when an MIT 8-way was built at Pepperell (http://web.mit.edu/skydive/www/history.shtml). If you are a MIT student, a MIT prospective student, an alumna or alumnus, a staff member, or a former staff member and would like to participate please email me or just show up at the DZ on July 15th. Jim Rees will accommodate for different levels of experience. He think that as long as you are current, can dock safely on a 4-way or larger formation, and can track safely you can and should participate. If you have not skydived for a long time you have almost a month to get current again. Please email if you have any questions and are thinking to participate. We would love to connect and to hear from you. Remember, we need you!!!
