New to the sport-South Africa

Hello Everyone. I'm very interested in sky diving. Haven't done it before, haven't done a course, but want to start. I live in the North West Provence of South Africa, in a town called Potchefstroom. Can anyone direct me to a drop zone that is not yet listed? Or is Pretoria still the closest?

I think you might find that Joburg Skydiving club based in Carletonville is close... great place in my opinion - due to DZ being about 5500 feet above sea level exit altitude is limited to 11k but the people there are great..... (speaking as a Brit who goes there occasionally)...

I believe that JSC (Johannesburg Skydiving Club) located at Carletonville would be the closest club with the best facilities. Speaking under correction it should be about a 30-40 min drive.

The club does both Static Line and AFF student courses, which run every weekend. You can get more information at http://www.jsc.co.za.
