Recommended Posts

Located Just 15 minuits from loop 465 in Lebanon Jump Indy Skydiving Center, Indiana's newest and only DZ owned turbine aircraft (Otter) facility is looking in to sponcoring one and maybe two RW teams for the upcoming season. JISC will be opening this spring in there very own 8500sf hanger office complex on a 167 private airport with with a huge gear store and some of the most enovative programs concieved in recent years.

Anyone know if this dz is just a wet dream or is it really going to open?
An area DZO has been putting out the word that this dz is done and they haven't even opened yet.
The web page was up and viewable, but now it is down.
First it was a twin otter and WB182, then it was a twin bo and WB182, then it was just a WB182, and now the word is they won't open at all.:S

Could there be some truth to the "talk on the street"?
Anyone know the real deal?

sorry for the wrong placement greenies....:P

My understanding is that the location of this DZ has a fair amount of issues with the driveway and landing area flooding, pretty much any time that it rains. Then they spend all that time advertising that they were going to have an otter when the season starts and now they won't.

These things, tend to make me fairly skeptical as to how great of a DZ, if a DZ at all, it will be. Guess we'll just have to wait and see, but I'm not getting my hopes up for anything special.

The www.jumpindy.com web site is not up. I did a WHOIS and found an administrative and technical contact email address for the domain.

I sent that address an email requesting further information and the reply was as follows:
No. The two main owners have decided to not open the DZ. Sorry for the confusion.

Door!.... wait, what are we doin again?

Gee sure would be nice of them to post that info if it's true, after all they post the opening.
Oh well anyone really want to jump a twin-bo anyway.
Good news for Gorge and the boys.

In one post it said the plane was on the way there another it said the place was closed before it opened. I know i have a limited brain capacity from being at high altitudes, but can sombody explain this to me.

Your not the only one.
My best guess is that it is NOT.
That is the word going around, and the web page is now down.
Maybe they were hoping no one would remember the advertising they put out and it would fade away?
