Thanks dropdeded Chicagoland Skydiving, Hinckley, IL, about 50miles west of the city Skydive Chicago, Ottawa, IL, about 70 miles SW of the city. Both are excellent DZs with Otters, load organizers, etc. Just to see Skydive Chicago's facilities is worth a trip there.... The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one.
