What Nor Cal DZ's are still keepin busy this time of year? I'm wanting to make a trip down for a weekend, but don't wanna hit bad weather. One with FFers would be best. Thanks.

They norcal DZs are all pretty close, you could even do two in a weekend..

SkyDance in Davis is still going on the weekends with lots of freeflyers also. We use a Pac750Xl which is fast to altitude and a door wide enough to chunck out nice 4/5 person flowers.

Also, if your gonna be out during the week the free flyers at lodi are also awesome, only issue is they are working alot on the weekends.

Fire Safety Tip: Don't fry bacon while naked

Nope.

Nor Cal is dead. Better to stay in Oregon.... :D

We've had half an inch of rain in SF since July 1, and realistically, that probably means less than an inch since May 1st.

The rain forecast for this week was a no show too.

So until our winter actually shows, Oregon's fair game. In terms of skydiving, cloud cover is what keeps us on the ground most.
