Miami 0 #1 October 21, 2005 Since I'm moving across the country (back to the east coast) I thought it would be a good time to visit some dz's along the way. I'll be driving from Colorado Springs, CO to the Norfolk, VA area. I'm taking I-70 to St Louis then I-64 to Richmond, VA. It'll be a Wed-Fri drive (2nd-4th of Nov)...if you think your dz might be open and it is close to those interstates let me know...I'd like to get a couple jumps in along the way!Miami

When you get closer to Richmond, you got West Point, Orange, and Louisa. You would have to go more north to get to Orange and Louisa. And past Richmond to get to West Point. West Point is the closest to Norfolk. Here are some google maps: West Point Orange and Louisa - if you cannot see both, zoom out, they are close to each other. Of course, I am partial to Orange. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
Bolas 5 #3 October 21, 2005 If you're taking I-64, you are going right by both Orange and Louisa. I do believe Louisa is closer to I-64 from Orange, but I've never been there. Definitely call and see if they are open. Both had Cesnas last I knew so you may be able to scare up some jumpers. Stupidity if left untreated is self-correcting If ya can't be good, look good, if that fails, make 'em laugh.
crazydiver 0 #4 October 21, 2005 If your heading through denver, you should swing up Mile Hi way!!! We have a new otter, a king air, and a 206 for the using. Are you familiar with this place? You should at least stop by to say bye! Cheers, Travis
Miami 0 #5 October 22, 2005 Haha, well of course I'll be at Mile Hi...I'll be up there all of Halloween weekend! I'll definitely be stopping into Orange, Louisa, and West Point, but I'll also be living somewhat close to them as well...are there any other dz's between my start and stop point that might be open during the week?Miami
