ladyskydiver 0 #1 September 23, 2005 I've got a possibility of a field study which would put me in Costa Rica from mid-May until mid-June of 2006 (yeah...I know it's next year, but....). I noticed there was only 1 DZ listed in the dropzone section and it has no reviews. What can you tell me about the DZ? Are they still operating? What are they like?....etc. Life is short! DrewGPM 0 #2 September 23, 2005 There is a group of jumpers from chicagoland going to Costa Rica in January. Nobody is planning to jump, but they'll be in the country. We can give you more feedback after that trip...since you're not leaving any time soon. One of our people lived there a few years ago. When she wanted to jump, they rented a 182 for the day and jumped. But that was several yers ago. hopefully things have changed.
skydiveelis 0 #3 September 23, 2005 I'm not sure but I think they are no longer on business.... I may be wrong but I thought that DZ was involved in the crash accident a couplke of months ago where few guys form Cali died and one survived....________________________________________
bch7773 0 #4 September 26, 2005 when i went to costa rica this summer i was planning on jumping, unfortionately the only DZ that i could find info for online was the one that the plane crashed into the ocean and four outta five of them died. i doubt that DZ will reopen.
