We have a VERY limited quantity available to rent. If the gear store opens back up (they keep telling me that it will be open for for Halloween) then I am sure that you could purchase through them. I'll keep you posted on that.

Matt - can you maybe list the hotel or hotels that you mentioned to me were less expensive than the ones with our discounts? I have people asking but I forgot the name and lost the note (like that's a surprise to anyone).

HOTELS

I just did a search on Google maps. Follow this link and you will see all the results. On the bottom left, below the first 10 results is a little blue arrow, you can keep clicking it, there are PAGES of results. Some are good and some seem bad (i.e. not what I was looking for, like an RV park or something). I just basically called a lot of them and looked at the websites if they had one to see if they had pictures of the place. If you click on any entry you'll get contact info and a website if it exists.

The two that I remember are the Sea Dell (the one I chose) and the Sandpiper... both of those places were under $60/night, looked decent from the pics, and 1-2 miles from the DZ. Like I said though, there are MANY results to be searched through, maybe there are better deals to be found if you call more places than I did.

I stand corrected - borrowing. I know how this borrowing works. I have had so many things borrowed. I have probably done a little borrowing myself if I really thought about it.

Thanks for the links. Get your rooms - and keep sending those registrations in. I've got a bunch but there are so many people that I KNOW are coming that haven't sent me their forms. Please send them in early so we can make sure we have plenty of everything for everyone!

Scotty and I stayed at the Sea Dell several times. It is a very nice Hotel. Some of the rooms have kitchen as well. We would give the Sea Dell 2 thumps up!

I never bring any of my stash to Sebastian, because I'm afraid I'll put Tiffany out of business. But I like watching skydivers all hopped up on quality tequila. It's my second hobby

I picked up a few at outdoor world for a buddy of mine, 40$. so that would leave me to believe that you may be able to locate one at any bait and tackle shop, but you never know.

Actually yeh, when I bought my float gear from a skydiving gear store I assumed stupidly it was a skydiving-specific thing. From the packaging and manual it was clear it was designed for boaters and watersports. So there are probably many places you can find these things for sale, probably cheaper.

Just did a search for Stearns Inflatabelt (what I paid $90 for last year through a skydiving gear store) and found this. Cheaper and smaller than the big bulky one I have.

Update time!

Coconut Cay is full although I may possibly have a room or even two that I was holding for staff that I might not need and rather than just turn it back to the hotel and risk it going to non-skydivers, I'll pass it on to someone if they want it. Let me know. I should know by tonight if I need the room(s) or not.

Also Jim Harris of EastSide Freefly and Will Lajeunnesse will be freefly organizing for us.

RW will have Roger Ponce and Lyle Presse.

Scary Perry for wingsuits.

Norman Kent will be shooting video and

Okay, this cleveland weather is getting too cold too damn fast. (and I am tired of missing out on all the Boogie-woogie-woogie fun)

What is the tent/shower/bathroom/food situation like at Sebastion?

(this trip is gonna be down and dirty cheap so I can jump my ass off)

Well, the camping/shower situation at Sebastian is great. (Now that we are on city water.) HOWEVER - this particular boogie is not actually at Sebastian.

The Keys Boogie is in Marathon, FL on Vaca Key. That is dead center in the keys after you leave the mainland and hit the islands.

The camping situation there is not good. As in almost non-existant - as in you can't camp on the airport at all and I don't really know where you can - not good.

You can usually hook up with a group of similar minded jumpers who pile a zillion people into one hotel room thus bringing the overhead way down.

Or you treat it like a boogie/vacation and go big with a nice room and enjoy your margaritas on the beach.

If I remember correctly someone told me that there actually is a camping place on the island but it was so expensive it worked out better to share a room rather than pay a lot to sleep under nylon!
